COMMON CAUSES
• Food poisoning: due to eating contaminated food or that is spoil. Raw and undercooked poultry has the highest risk and is more likely to be contaminated with foodborne bacteria. These can include chicken, duck, and turkey, and they are all more likely to be contaminated with one of two types of bacteria: Salmonella and Campylobacter. High temperatures and food expose to heat, can produce microbes that generates diarrhea as well.
• Bacteria and parasites Bacteria is a leading cause of diarrhea, and it can come from the common food that you eat. The classic examples of bacteria are Vibrio cholerae, Salmonella spp., and enterotoxigenic E. Coli.
• Traveler’s diarrhea: It’s caused by drinking water or eating foods contaminated or raw fruits and vegetables, when you visit a place where the climate or sanitary practices are different from yours at home, you have an increased risk of developing traveler’s diarrhea. Known as well as Moctezuma’s Revenge is diarrhea that is usually experienced by people traveling south of the U.S. border.
There are two types of diarrhea:
Non-infectious diarrhea:
Infectious diarrhea
Is acquired through the fecal-oral route by ingestion of contaminated water or food. Most of these infections are caused by poor hygienic conditions (e.g., someone who may not wash their hands well after going to the bathroom) or just bacteria and virus. Infectious diarrhea is usually contagious, meaning you picked it up from contact with another person.
Have you ever eaten or drunken so much that your stomach aches? Or maybe you’ve eaten something specific that causes tummy troubles. Why your stomach aches after eating? There are different reasons. If you ate more than usual, it could be hurting because it’s full of too much food. On the other hand, your stomach could feel “off” because you ate foods that disagree with it. Spicy, or especially decadent foods can cause stomach discomfort.
Heartburn most often occurs when you overindulge in too much food or drink. Pressure on the stomach from overeating or eating large portions of high-fat dishes can cause the discomfort. The main symptom is a painful, burning feeling in the middle of your chest. It’s caused by stomach acid rising into your esophagus (reflux), which runs through your chest, close to your heart. Heartburn is an occasional symptom for many people, and a chronic condition for others, occurring frequently. You may notice heartburn more when lying down, bending over, you had a late dinner, or you had a rich, acidic or spicy meal.
Many people experience indigestion any time during the day. It’s a very common discomfort in your upper abdomen when you overindulge in food or drink, eating too quickly, eating inflammatory foods, or eating particularly high-fat foods. Other lifestyle factors that can aggravate your indigestion include alcohol, stress, and fatigue. Indigestion describes certain symptoms, such as belly pain and a feeling of fullness soon after you start eating, rather than a specific disease. Indigestion can also be a symptom of other digestive disorders. Symptoms of indigestion may be felt occasionally or as often as daily.
Is a stomach discomfort and the sensation of wanting to vomit. It can be a precursor to vomiting the contents of the stomach. Nausea can stem from a variety of causes. Some people are highly sensitive to motion or to certain foods, medications, or the effects of certain medical conditions. All these things can cause nausea. When you have nausea due to overindulgence in food or drink, your stomach is filled and has some trouble processing all the extra food. It can interrupt the natural protective lining in your esophagus and stomach. It can cause a lot of discomfort and you may also have raised blood sugar levels, feel lethargic, or feel like you’re going to throw up. Nausea after eating happens more than you may like.

Treda Ultra is an antidiarrheal and upset stomach reliever product. It can be taken any time you are experiencing diarrhea, travelers’ diarrhea or an upset stomach due to overindulgence in food and drink, including Indigestion, fullness, gas, nausea, heartburn and belching. This happens when bismuth (the active ingredient in Treda Ultra) comes into contact with small amounts of Sulphur in your saliva and digestive system. They combine to form bismuth sulfide, a black substance. As it slowly makes its way out of your body this can sometimes result in a black tongue or black poop. This discoloration is temporary and harmless. It can last several days after you stop taking Treda Ultra. Individual bowel habits, your age (the intestinal tract slows down with age), and the amount of the product taken, all help to determine how long Treda Ultra is in your system. If you’re experiencing discoloration in your tongue or on your stools and you haven’t taken Treda Ultra in the last few days or if you have any concerns talk to your healthcare provider.
Your kids can get an upset stomach anywhere, including diarrhea at any time. Treda Ultra is only safe for kids 12 and up. Doses: Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 caplet every 1/2 to 1 hour as needed. Do not exceed 8 caplets in 24 hours.

Ask a health professional before use. As with any drug, read the label thoroughly before use.
